| Chicha has BIG earrings. So I needed big earrings. I cut up a soap box, hot glued twine all around it, and put some earring hooks in them from some earrings I have. I would've made Derek's poncho bigger, but that was all the fabric. Derek got a pumpkin from the patch near our house and went about carving it up while we watched/listened to You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. It was delightful. :) PS, we bought some candy just in case we got trick-or-treaters. Not one. It was kind of sad. Even with Doris outside. Today Derek learned that there are never trick-or-treaters on the steep streets. And ours is STEEP. Oh well, we'll just have to eat it ourselves. ;) |

You guys are so cute to dress up just for yourselves! Violet's costume only lasted about an hour at the ward party. Then she insisted on being changed to a feather-free onesie.

Nice work! You both look awesome and you imitate her trying to pick up that mug perfectly. I was an official dud for Halloween (except I did dress up my kids- that should count for something, right?)
